King’s Award
Sibylline Receives King’s Award for Enterprise Following 370% Export Growth
6 May 2025, London – Sibylline is honoured to have received the King’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, recognising the firm’s exceptional 370 per cent growth in overseas sales over the past three years. The award reflects Sibylline’s ongoing commitment to supporting global organisations during profound geopolitical uncertainty while achieving sustainable growth without external investment.
Founded in 2010, Sibylline has grown from a London-based start-up into a leading global strategic intelligence firm, now employing nearly 500 professionals worldwide. Between 2021 and 2023, the company’s international revenue increased from £8.1 million to £38.1 million, with overseas clients accounting for 85 per cent of total revenue.
This growth has been driven by Sibylline’s role as a trusted intelligence partner to many of the world’s most prominent organisations. Under the leadership of founder and Chief Executive Officer Justin Crump, the company has helped clients navigate a rapidly evolving global environment shaped by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic and the conflict in Ukraine. Throughout these challenging periods, Sibylline remained guided by its mission to empower organisations to manage risk and build resilience, underpinned by a strong commitment to British values and integrity.
As part of this mission, the company ensured that life-critical intelligence remained accessible to those who needed it most. Paywalls were removed from vital information so organisations responsible for safety and security could access essential updates irrespective of financial constraints.
Justin Crump’s strategic vision has been central to Sibylline’s success. Drawing on his experience as a British Army tank commander with operational deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo and Bosnia, and supported by academic qualifications from Sandhurst, King’s College London and the University of Durham, he has helped shape the firm’s distinctive approach. His expertise as a published author, international speaker and frequent commentator in global media continues to contribute to the company’s reputation and influence.
Sibylline’s achievements are underpinned by a model of continuous reinvestment and a deliberate decision to remain independent of external capital. Its core Embedded Services offering, which represents 85 per cent of overseas trade, provides clients with dedicated intelligence personnel embedded within their organisations and supported by Sibylline’s wider team. This model allows for consistent delivery, scalability and long-term strategic partnerships across various sectors.
With regional hubs in Singapore, Washington, D.C., Brazil, and Ireland, Sibylline supports more than 10 per cent of the Fortune 500, 11% of the FTSE100 and maintains a client retention rate exceeding 95 per cent. Planned expansions into India and Australia in 2025 will further extend the company’s global footprint.
This prestigious award is a testament to the commitment of Sibylline’s exceptional team. The company takes great pride in having achieved this growth by investing in its people, staying true to its values and maintaining its independence, with a British foundation and a truly global impact.
