Weekly Fuel and Energy Security Review

Report

April 11, 2026

The Israel-US-Iran war and the critical Strait of Hormuz’s associated de facto closure have severely disrupted energy commodity and downstream petrochemical markets. As a result, national and regional economies face heightened exposure to energy and fuel security risks. As part of our World Risk Register (WRR) service, Sibylline is continually reviewing energy and fuel risks globally to support client decisions on operational continuity and supply chain issues. Our focus is to provide clear escalation thresholds and forecasting for countries and regions that are assessed to face the highest threats.
